Bel Geddes Design Process
The client will supply Bel Geddes Design with a brief / outline, describing the objective of the proposed project. Bel Geddes Design obtains existing plans from the council, Landlords or Architects to be redrawn into our CAD system.
The client should propose a rough estimate on what budget they have available for their project so that the design can be conceptualised around this. We survey the existing site or the proposed architectural drawings to ensure accurate measurements.
The brief will then be distributed to our creative team, who produces the proposed furniture layouts, finishes / sample boards and supporting artwork to be presented to the client by a set deadline. Bel Geddes Design presents the concept to the client, and brainstorms any variations of the design.
Upon approval of the concept, Bel Geddes Design completes the technical drawings. These layers include lighting, air conditioning, power layout, voice data, and flooring as well as detailed construction drawings to be issued to the construction manager.
Bel Geddes Design has its own in-house Project / Construction Management division and liaises with the client on a continuous basis to ensure accuracy of design adherence and quality of aesthetics.
